Team Building, Events, and then some…

Our quad biking activities are fun filled and energetic, perfect for treating your staff or impressing your key clients. Give them an experience they won’t forget in a hurry!

Whether you’re Quad Bike Racing or Quad Bike Trekking, you’ll have to wear outdoor clothing, including walking boots, wellies or old trainers. Full body coveralls and quad biking safety kit are provided; including gloves and helmets. But chances are, you’re going to get wet and muddy in a Quad Biking activity (come on, that’s half the fun), so you should definitely bring a change of footwear.

All of our quad biking sessions include a detailed safety brief and each participant will be assessed in a smaller area before they are allowed to take part in the main event.

Quad Bike Racing is an adrenaline-charged, competitive motor sport. Buckle up for one of the most intensely fun times of your life.

When you arrive at Garlands, your group will be briefed on safety and rules of the race, and shown how to ride our Yamaha ‘Grizzly’ 125cc Quad Bikes properly. Once everyone is kitted up, you’ll do a practice lap under the guidance of your instructor before beginning the race. This activity is run on a time trial basis and setting off at 10-second intervals. Up to 4 participants will be on the track at one time.

Once the dust has settled and everyone’s got their breath back; gold, silver and bronze medals are presented on the winners’ podium.

We can run Quad Bike races in all sorts of ways – group activities, private parties, corporate events, team building activity days, multi-activity competition events… Just tell us what you want and we’ll see you at the starting line!

Quad Bike Trekking is one great big bumpy, muddy adventure. You’ll be zipping across fields, bouncing over rocks, weaving your way through woods, splashing through rivers and careering up and down hills and hollows. As you follow our instructors on a tour around our 150 acres of Leicestershire / Warwickshire countryside, you’ll also get the chance to take in some breath-taking views.

As with all Quad Biking activities, you will kick off with a safety briefing from your instructor and one-to-one tuition. Once everyone has got to grips with our 330cc Polaris Sportsman ETX quad bike, it’s time for action. Each member of your group will have their very own ‘ETX’ to tame throughout their adventure.

At Garlands, we want to make sure everyone has as much fun as possible but also be as safe as possible, so all of our sessions are fully instructed and the safety of our customers is our main priority. All rules will be explained during the briefing and these will need to be followed by all participants.

So whether you’re feeling ‘Indiana Jones’ or a bit more ‘Driving Miss Daisy’, we’ll take you on the quad biking route that suits you best.

Quad bike racing is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced riders. You are always in control and can drive as fast or slow as you wish. There is one-to-one tuition and warm up laps before setting out on a race. The racing track is designed with overtaking points that can only be used when indicated by one of the marshals, who will be present at all times.

Each member of the group will need to demonstrate their ability to ride a quad bike during the one-to-one tuition prior to being able to participate in the racing or trekking.

The minimum age for Quad Biking is 16 years – please bring ID to prove your age if you look under 18. If you are unable to provide ID and our staff believe you to be under the age of 16 you will not be able to participate in the activity.

The maximum weight is 18 stones / 114kg (although slightly higher for our Quad Bike Treks). Please bear in mind that this is a weight guideline and participants must be able to fit into the safety equipment, and compliance with this is the attendee’s responsibility. If you are unsure, you are welcome to call the office for further information.

For all Quad Bike activities, Garlands provides coveralls and safety equipment including gloves and helmets.

“I have been quad biking at several other places but this was by far the best. There was a lot of variety – not just riding around – brilliant would highly recommend!”
