Bridge Building - Team Building Activity 1
Using equipment provided, teams have to create a structure bridging banks of the River Sence. The construction will need to take the weight of the whole team and meet a level of safety. Planning and effective communication are vital to success of this team building activity.

Raft Building - Team Building Activity 2
The group is given a range of equipment to build a raft. Once the raft is constructed the team must paddle up the river to collect an object. Once this has been retrieved the raft must be returned to the start point. This team building activity is great fun and really gets the emotions going.

Spiders Web - Team Building Activity 3
You must get your team through the holes in the spiders web without touching the sticky web. Each member must be passed through the web at different points to stop the spider being attracted to one particular point. If you touch the web in this team building activity you will be useless to your team.

Night Line - Team Building Activity 4
Blindfolded teams follow a rope on an orienteering mission. At regular intervals the rope will divide into 3 and choices of direction have to be made. Along the way, the team collects items to complete the team building challenge.

Electric Fence - Team Building Activity 5
The team need to cross the electric fence without getting electrocuted. The team must use the equipment provided to do this. This is real problem solving with the answers to problems not always as obvious as first thought.

Rail Tracks - Team Building Activity 6
A team building task where the team will continually need to evaluate the plan as the problems faced change.

Stepping Stones - Team Building Activity 7
This is a problem solving task which involves the team having to cross a restricted area using planks. Planning and strategy are key to success in this team building task.

Rollerball - Team Building Activity 8
Rollerball requires the whole team to build a construction to transport a ball from the start point to the finish point. Teams will work in 3 adjoining areas so co-operation and coordination are vital. Everyone needs to contribute to the overall team objective.

Stretcher Carry - Team Building Activity 9
Transport the stretcher carefully around the course. Anyone touching the stretcher is blindfolded and success is measured by the amount of water remaining in the container carried on the stretcher. Effective communication between the sighted and non-sighted is vital for this team building activity.

Tyrolean Traverse - Team Building Activity 10
A construction style task - use the diagrams provided and build a rope bridge to traverse the pit. Team members must cross the pit to obtain the clues to work out the code to open the safe which has a prize inside.

A Frame Walk - Team Building Activity 11
'A' Frame Walk - Use the pioneering poles to build the 'A' Frame. One member of your team stands in the middle of the frame, while the others use the ropes to manoeuvre it around the obstacles. This team building activity requires co-ordination and control.
