This is a real test of teamwork and strategy. The event gives use of the track for up to 60 drivers. Participants are divided into teams, and the teams compete to race the greatest number of laps in the allotted time.
Upon arrival race suits, helmets, balaclavas and gloves are given out. A safety briefing is given to the group explaining safety procedures, kart control, racing tips and an explanation of race format, followed by a walk of the track.
An endurance race is a format devised specifically for teams and is ideal for team building exercises and groups aiming to maximise driving time. The number of drivers per team will vary depending on group size with the race length being based on each driver completing approximately 30 minutes driving time. For example: a group containing 48 drivers would be divided into 8 teams of 6 with the race lasting 3 hours and so on.
Each endurance race begins with a timed practice session giving each driver
the chance to familiarise themselves with the circuit layout and karts before the race begins. Following the practice session the karts are arranged in qualifying order ready for a rolling start led by the safety kart. Drivers are given the opportunity to decide their own race strategy allowing teams to select who starts, who finishes and every driver change in between.

The idea is to complete as many laps as possible before the chequered flag. The winning team will receive trophies and champagne for their efforts.
Even when not in the kart, your team can still participate by monitoring your race position deciding the best time to change drivers using the comprehensive race information timing screens.
Longer endurance races are available by arrangement.
Karting at Garlands is easily accessible from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham, Sutton Coldfield, Derby, Tamworth, Burton Upon Trent, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Coalville, Rugeley, Rugby, Hinckley & Loughborough.
