It is important to wear suitable outdoor footwear. The falconry experience take place through the countryside and therefore ground conditions may be wet and muddy in places so we recommend wearing walking boots or wellington boots in the winter, trainers are suitable in the summer months. Warm waterproof outdoor clothing is ideal in the winter – the colour of clothing is not important to the birds, but please do not wear hats or sunglasses.
A long sleeved top that covers the lower arms must be worn and long trousers are recommended rather than shorts to protect from nettles. Following wet weather it is possible that the bottom of the trousers may become wet so we advise bringing a spare pair of trousers.
It is also a good idea to bring a camera to take a way memories of the birds, they are very photogenic!
Falconry is available at our Midlands venue easily accessible from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham, Sutton Coldfield, Derby, Tamworth, Burton Upon Trent, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Coalville, Rugeley, Rugby, Hinckley & Loughborough.
