Crossbow Shooting and Sling Shots near Tamworth Midlands easily accessible from Birmingham, Leicester Coventry & Nottingham

Records show that the Normans first brought Crossbows to England as far back as 1066, and the earliest slingshots were created in Russia in the late 1880’s. If you fancy the idea of having a go at a couple of traditional target sports then this activity will be ideal. In a similar way to rifle and pistol shooting, Crossbow shooting and Slingshots require a high level of skill and concentration to hit the targets. They are great to try for something new and unusual and are perfect for complete novices.

Participants receive a safety briefing to start the activity followed by tuition from our marshals in using the weapons themselves. After weapon familiarisation and a practice shoot to hone your skills and boost your confidence, the activity moves onto a competition. Approximately 45 minutes will be allowed for each weapon.

The competition includes various targets to hit to really put your skills to the test. To win this crossbow shooting and Slingshots activity you need nerves of steel, a steady hand and the ability to stay calm under pressure! Medals for first, second and third place are awarded for the sharpest shooters in town.

This combination activity can take place either on our indoor or outdoor range should the weather be poor.
