Falconry Experience at Mythe Farm in the heart of the Midlands easily accessable from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry & Nottingham
“Amazing”, “Inspiring”, “Awesome”, “Incredible”… Take a step back into medieval times with a falconry experience at Garlands. The wind in your hair, beautiful countryside spreading out before you and a magnificent falcon on your gloved fist. It doesn’t get much better than this!
Falconry is a wonderful way to experience birds of prey up close and personal. On your 1½ hour falconry experience, you will get to meet and interact with a variety of magnificent hawks, owls and falcons. You will be accompanied by an experienced falconer who will share their knowledge about the life of these beautiful birds.
All the equipment you need is provided, and refreshments are available on site.
We run Falconry experiences at our venue in the beautiful Warwickshire and Leicestershire countryside, right in the heart of the Midlands between Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Burton Upon Trent. Falconry can be organised as a group activity, corporate event, or as part of a multi-activity day.
You can give Garlands Falconry as a gift voucher and because you can get here from pretty much anywhere in the midlands, it really is the perfect location for an amazing day out.

Please note: Unfortunately, birds do not fly well in very wet weather. If it is raining on the day of your walk, we will re–arrange a suitable time to re-book. The event will then be rearranged at no additional cost. You must call us on the morning of your walk to check the weather forecast.
It is important to wear suitable outdoor footwear. The falconry experience takes place in the countryside and therefore ground conditions may be wet and muddy in places, so we recommend wearing walking boots or wellington boots in the winter; trainers are suitable in the summer months. Warm waterproof outdoor clothing is ideal in the winter – the colour of clothing is not important to the birds, but please do not wear hats or sunglasses.
A long sleeved top that covers the lower arms must be worn and long trousers are recommended, rather than shorts – to protect from nettles. Following wet weather, it is possible that the bottom of your trousers may become wet, so we advise bringing a spare pair of trousers.
It is also a good idea to bring a camera to take away memories of the birds – they are very photogenic!
